A BIT ABOUT ME

HI & WELCOME TO MY BLOG
A stitcher to my core, I love to explore & combine techniques.
I stitch by hand, both traditional & contemporary & Explore the possibilites of creative machine stitching with embroidery, quilting, patchwork, needle felting & serger machines.
Texture within the natural world & macro photography form a basis of much of my personal work
Somehow I have managed to stay married to Dave for nearly 40 years & we have really the best two children in the world (yep mine lol)
I currently teach CITY & GUILDS of London CREATIVE TEXTILE courses in Machine Embroidery, Patchwork & Quilting & Soft Furnishings. I also teach LEISURE classes locally
