As promised a small selection of my City & Guilds level 1 Patchwork & Quilting students fantastic work.I have had a nightmarish couple of days. 5am two days ago my husband collapsed & I thought that he had died, he was grey, clammy and unresponsive. I rang 999 and a fantastic man on the other end of the phone was marvellous, as were the 2 ambulance men who stabilised him, the journey to hospital was freezing and frightening, but my son was there when we arrived & my daughter soon after. The ward sister & the consultant were also fantastic. I cannot praise our NHS and these individuals enough; I wish them all everything that they want from life.
Seems that my husband had a severe reaction to a prescribed drug for his compressed vertebrae. He is still in complete pain & has been to the Physio today which bought a little relief for a while. He is so fed up. The house is boiling hot and we have watched so much crap TV that I have had to escape to the puter for a few minutes
I want to wish you all a really good year next year in the hopes that some of it will rub off on us.
